Ollie was born with positional plagiosephaly on the right side of his head (flat head syndrome).
When he first came to me, he was seven months old and had been wearing a helmet for two months.
While it had been effective in allowing his skull to become more rounded in shape,
he was still somewhat asymmetrical and delayed in his overall development.
Because his head was flat on the right side, Ollie tended to lay with his head turned to the right only.
He also hated 'tummy time.'
What I did was provide his whole system the support and learning opportunities it lacked from
having lived for 7 months with an asymmetrical head that affected his whole left side in
terms of his orientation to, and experience of, his world.
After a series of lessons, Ollie was turning to the left on his own,
rolling onto his belly and smiling constantly.
